Ah yes, we've all heard it before...the wave of the future looks towards technology. There is certainly truth here. When it comes to building business, it does make sense to consider technology as a turning point to push your business to the next level. Just take a look at the benefits:
- Low Overhead Costs
- Global Market Outreach
- Web 2.0 Marketing/Advertising Trends
- Endless Growth of Internet Expansion
- AUTOMATION
- Outsourcing
- Etc, etc, etc, etc
It is no secret that the entire World is now looking at technology and raising an eyebrow. E-Commerce is rapidly growing in exponential volumes. People are starting their own home based businesses, reaching out to people all across the Globe. Networking and contract negotiations done from the comfort of home.
I was even informed of recent of a Chief Information Officer for a New York based Corporation whom literally runs his operations from an office hidden in the mountains of California. These trends are no longer fantasy. They are here and individuals are practicing them everyday.
The business environment is evolving. Big business, small business, and everything in between is leveraging youtube, blogs, articles, myspace, social bookmarking sites, and various other forms of Web 2.0 trends to gain exposure to their products and services. Networking marketing professionals are making their mark on the internet age as well.
Now it is even more realistic for the average person to start a business from the comfort of their own home by tapping into this information super highway we call the internet. I for one have it done it myself. I am no pioneer, but I have certainly positioned myself on the forefront of trends that are happening right now in the Global Market. If you're not capitalizing on it, then someone else is.
